SaltConf19 At a Glance
SaltConf19 is a gathering designed to help IT professionals more effectively control, optimize, and secure data center infrastructure using SaltStack event-driven automation.
SaltConf19 will include two days packed with hands-on training, education, and technical insight from SaltStack engineers, customers, partners, and contributors. SaltConf19 will run November 18-19 and includes keynotes, breakout sessions, and lab-based training not offered anywhere else.
SaltConf19 training offers twelve new and unique courses led by SaltStack certified trainers and engineers. Courses are designed for SaltStack beginners and power users. Three use-case based training tracks will be aligned with ITOps, SecOps, and NetOps, with a fourth track dedicated to advanced SaltStack use cases. Register to get access to SaltConf19 training early. We expect many courses to sell out.
SaltStack Certified Engineer Exam
A sitting for the SaltStack Certified Engineer exam will be made available at SaltConf19 and is free to SaltConf19 Training registrants. Check the agenda for exam registration times and go to the registration desk on-site for further instructions.
SaltConf19 Salt Sprint and Salt Party
Monday night join SaltStack, the Salt Working Group captains, and SaltConf19 sponsors as we host a Salt Sprint followed by a Salt Party with food, drinks, and networking. For more information about the Salt Sprint read this blog post.
Salt Working Groups
Throughout the conference there will be opportunity to collaborate with Salt Working Groups around topics like network automation, cloud management, Salt SSH, Windows, Salt testing, and more. Use this opportunity to connect with like-minded SaltStack experts, share knowledge and build valuable networks within the Salt community. Make sure to participate in the Salt Sprint on Monday and the Salt Community Meet the Experts breakout session on Tuesday.
Keynotes and Breakout Sessions
SaltConf19 will offer dozens of breakout sessions and keynotes comprised of customer case studies, technical deep dives, working group sessions, and executive keynotes from industry luminaries like Mark Sunday, Oracle CIO emeritus, Renee Murphy, Forrester Research principal analyst, and Will Gregorian, Addepar CISO. The SaltConf19 agenda provides unique opportunities to learn from the SaltStack engineers, community leaders, customers, partners, and executives.
